Spatial audio opens up new possibilities for audience experience. It is not only what we hear, but also where we experience sound that shapes how a performance comes across. Sound can move through the space, connect with visuals and scenography, and fully immerse the audience in the performance.

Following the STEPP Contact Day in July, Amptec will take you further into the world of immersive audio for live applications during this exclusive inspiration day for STEPP.

Discover how different technologies and approaches add space, movement and depth to sound. From Dolby Atmos and Areal Upmix Engine to d&b Soundscape and Klang immersive IEM, different technologies and approaches demonstrate how spatial sound can bring artists and audiences closer to the performance.

Experience the power of spatial audio in Amptec’s Demo Room: this will be more than a theoretical presentation. It will be a day to listen, experience and discover. Different systems and workflows will be presented side by side, allowing you to experience for yourself what spatial audio can bring to a production.

Alongside demonstrations and presentations, you will also get a behind-the-scenes look at Amptec during a guided tour — where technology, expertise and practice come together.

Where sound gets room to breathe, experiences come to life — come and experience it for yourself.
